drawgasmic

this is my painting called "everything and nothing" for the upcoming drawgasmic show. the show features the work of "independent artists, illustrators and designers." the exhibition runs for one night only! the entire collection will also be documented in a limited edition coffee table book by the folks at cranky yellow publishing. it all happens july 10 at 2720 cherokee in st. louis. the artwork is available to view and purchase online. take a look at some art you'll want. i have some favorites already. i hope my work finds a good home.

my kind of pretty

i first found krislyn's work when looking for a florist to celebrate a friend's accomplishments. this was too many years ago to count. back then her work was already amazing and continues to be inspiring. 

she's moving on from the retail world but i hope to see her new work in the future.

 blamo recently released a new edition of billy, who sports rabbit ears and cowboy boots. what's not to love. spencer hansen and gang also have a solo show at the toy art gallery in los angeles that opens tonight.

 cute things by lines by davis...i have my eye on that cat pillow.  you can feel good about your purchase too as he is an "avid user of re-claimed and vintage textiles". he is busy creating new products so visit his shop, site,  and blog often. davis also has a food based blog called sake and cheese. i don't know about you but visiting food blogs makes me hungry.
